About the author

Ramsey Tudor Tharpe

A practitioner and an educator, in that order. Ramsey writes and coaches under a pen name to keep this work separate from an existing full-time role in education.

Background

Ramsey has spent more than sixteen years investing and over six years as an active discretionary trader across futures, options, equities, crypto, and commodities. None of that time was spent looking for a perfect system. Most of it was spent learning, the expensive way, that the technical side of trading was never the real problem.

Outside the markets, Ramsey works as a professional educator with a background across adult learners, secondary and college-level teaching, and international organizations. That work sits on a foundation of instructional design, learning psychology, counseling, and deliberate practice, the same discipline used to teach a difficult skill to a distracted, resistant, entirely human student. The Probability Player framework is what happens when that discipline is turned on trading psychology instead.

What gets shared, and what does not

Ramsey shares process metrics, behavioral scorecards, equity curve structure, and the honest record of psychological failures behind the framework. What will not appear here: broker statements, absolute profit and loss figures, or the kind of screenshot that exists to impress rather than to teach. Financial voyeurism is not credibility. A repeatable process is.

Why a pen name

Writing and coaching under Ramsey Tudor Tharpe keeps this work cleanly separate from an unrelated full-time role, and keeps the focus on the framework rather than the person behind it.

The one line worth remembering

"I am not my last trade. I am my standard."
