Four tools, free, no catch.

A sample of the operating system from Book Two, one tool from each stage of the loop: what to remove, how to start a session, how to take a loss cleanly, and how to review afterward. Read them free below. Want the printable one-page PDFs sent to you? Leave your email further down.

Subtraction

The Elimination List

You do not improve by adding. You improve by removing. A written, ranked inventory of your own catastrophic behaviors, cut in order of cost, before any new technique gets added on top of them.

Read the tool

How it works

Write down your catastrophic behaviors, in your own words. Not the market's. The averaging down, the emotional sizing, the entry you can't leave alone, the impulse in the first half hour, the refusal to cut.

Rank them in order of damage, worst at the top. Not most annoying. Most expensive.

Remove the top behavior before you let yourself add a single new technique. Eliminate before you optimize.

A day you didn't trade, when not trading was right, was a day you won. Mark it that way.

One question at session end

Did I run anything on my list today? There is no "a little." It was on the board or it wasn't.

Preparation

The PREP Gate

A gate, not a suggestion. You do not take a single position until it is cleared. Five checks, short enough to run in three minutes, long enough to change the day.

Read the tool

The five checks

State audit. Name your condition honestly: green (neutral, rested, clear), yellow (functional but compromised), red (depleted, angry, euphoric, or revenge-seeking). Euphoric belongs in red.

State-to-size rule. Green permits your standard size. Yellow cuts it. Red means you do not trade, you observe only or step away entirely.

Risk fixed in advance. Write your risk per trade and your maximum loss for the day now, in numbers, before a single position exists.

Session boundaries. Decide, before the open, how long the session runs and where the breaks fall.

Pre-commitment and anchor. State one If/Then for your most common mistake, then say the identity anchor: I am not my last trade. I am my standard.

The rule

The gate is either completed before the first trade or it is not. After the first trade is not preparation. It is damage control with a better name.

Protection

The Clean Loss Standard

This does not teach you to lose less. It teaches you to lose cleanly, so a loss costs only what it was supposed to cost and nothing more.

Read the tool

A loss is clean when all four are true

The exit was defined before entry, drawn while your mind was clean. The exit was honored without modification, the stop did not move, the size did not grow. There was no immediate re-entry. The risk taken was the risk agreed.

Then classify it, the post-mortem binary

Probability outcome: you followed your standard and the trade lost anyway. Not a mistake. Log it and move on.

Rule break: you deviated from your standard, regardless of the result. A profitable rule break is still a rule break.

Review

The Nightly Gauge

Five minutes nightly, twenty minutes weekly. The journal is not a record of the practice. It is part of the practice.

Read the tool

Four scores, every night, one through five

Setup: did the day begin governed, gate run, before any entries? Execution: did your hands match your plan? Protection: did every loss stay clean? Improvement: did yesterday's one correction actually appear in today's behavior?

Then classify and name it

Classify each trade in one word: clean or breach. Profitable breaches still get logged as breaches. Write one sentence naming today's single most expensive behavior.

The weekly leak

Once a week, read the seven gauges side by side. Name the one behavior that leaked most, by cost, not by shame. Write the script for what happens instead next time.
